I believe a lot of people among us want to download or save videos from Youtube. However, Youtube does not give option to do that. So, here is one of the ways to do save Youtube videos to your computer.
- Make sure you use Firefox as your web browser. If you do not have one, download it first.
- Open Firefox and click Tools located at the top option bar.
- Then, choose Add-Ons > Browse All Add-ons and a new webpage will appear.
- Click on Video Download Helper under Most Popular section at the right hand column.
- Click Add to Firefox and wait until the download finish.
- Go to Youtube.com and choose video you want to download.
- Next, click the Download Helper icon which looks like three balls connected at the centre.
- A download pop-up will appear and wait for the download to finish.
- Then, right click at the download file and choose Open containing folder.
- Make sure you remember location of the file.
- The downloaded file is in the format of .flv. You can only play those files using VLC player or FLV player. Google and download them if you do not have one.
- Enjoy the video!
